Lydia is a warm and determined therapist who is solution focused and strengths based. She meets clients where they’re at and forms goals thoughtfully and collaboratively. Lydia’s approach to therapy is an open and honest conversation, grounded in respect, commitment and humor. She firmly believes that we all deserve grace as we’re figuring things out.
Lydia enjoys working with families and relationships through a collaborative lens and as an advocate for each participant, doing her best to ensure that each client in the room feels as though they have value and a respected voice.
In addition, Lydia has experience working with adolescents, couples, families, and individuals in many different settings; intensive in-patient hospitals, high schools, outpatient clinics, in client’s homes and community, and in group therapy.
Lydia’s education is grounded in marriage and family therapy, bringing a systemic based lens that considers how a client’s environment, relationships, culture, community, experiences and influences have led them to their current season in life.
On a person note, Lydia has two dogs, who will undoubtedly appear in any virtual meeting and she loves to garden and cook. She and her husband are in the beautiful and tiresome throes of parenthood with their toddler, love to host, and firmly believe the more the merrier, bring on the chaos!
