Dr. Isaiah Lamb earned his doctorate in clinical psychology at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in the Washington, DC area, and is joining the team as a post-doctoral fellow under the supervision of Dr. Calsey Fasching. His background includes in-depth training in psychological assessment with a particular focus on how cognitive, emotional, and relational factors shape daily functioning.
Dr. Lamb provides evaluations for concerns related to attention and executive functioning, learning difficulties, mood and anxiety conditions, and trauma. His assessments examine domains such as memory, attention, language, executive functioning, and personality variables, offering a comprehensive understanding that supports accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
He is committed to an integrative, person-centered approach to assessment—one that values clarity and compassion. Dr. Lamb strives to ensure that each evaluation results in meaningful, understandable insights and practical recommendations that help guide clients, families, and providers toward their next steps.
Outside of his work at Optimal Brain, Dr. Lamb enjoys working as a professional drummer, teaching graduate-level psychology courses, and spending time with friends and family.
