The Team at Optimal Brain

Armel Ngah, CNP, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. With a strong clinical foundation and experience across multiple healthcare settings, I treat a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other complex mental health disorders.

My approach is holistic and collaborative, focusing on understanding each patient’s unique background, culture, and life experiences. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care. I integrate evidence-based treatment, medication management, and therapeutic support to help individuals achieve meaningful and lasting improvement.

I also bring valuable experience serving in the Minnesota National Guard, which has strengthened my discipline, resilience, and ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially veterans and those facing high-stress life circumstances.

I provide care for adults and adolescents through both in-person and telehealth services, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care. My goal is to partner with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that promote mental wellness, stability, and overall quality of life.
